Johnny Winter, has been a great guitarist and to many an inspiration to draw out the blues from.
Thank you for being a part of it. The Blues is many guitarists, many lyrics, maby melodies sung with a whole hearted spirit and the pain that only The Blues can draw out of us.
You are the Blues, Johnny. Oh yes you are.
Some phoneography fun with #PaulKang.
Lisbon snapshot adventure. Everytime I go to this city I am amazed at such historic beauty.
- Butch: “What happened to the old bank? It was beautiful.”
- Guard: “People kept robbing it.”
- Butch: “Small price to pay for beauty.”

One of best film experiences… My life needed this.
To relax the ears after a night of thrashing disco sounds.
BEST POSTS OF 2013 #9: All about Kwabs.
Ever since I first heard his chilling cover of James Blake’s “The Wilhelm Scream” late last year, Kwabena Adjepong's voice has haunted me, refusing to let my soul rest without feeding on his music daily. But if that sounds negative in any way, I can assure you that my journey into the depths of this man's incredibly moving sounds, that are a mixture of poignant deep sighs and uplifting highs, has been anything but. With each new release, I find myself throwing myself deeper and deeper into the deep and sensual waves of his words and melodies.
As we anticipate the hopeful release of a full-length album, one of the the elements I’ve come to appreciate about Kwabs, whilst scouring YouTube for any clips of him singing, is how crisp and refreshing he sounds when performing live.
In celebration of a new release a few days ago (which I’m currently listening to on repeat), I decided to compile a YouTube playlist of some of my favourite Kwabs live performances. There’s really no better way to start your Saturday morning.
Yes. Listen to kwabsmusic!
Happy New Year
